Modern Building Services (MBS) is the leading independent journal for the UK building services sector, reaching designers, contractors, installers and end-users. Our circulation of 23,724 (ABC) is the largest in our industry. This year, MBS celebrated 15 years of publishing, but we continue to develop and in 2018 introduced MBStv, a unique online channel bringing news and views to our 152,000 website visitors each year. As a long-time supporter of the CSA, MBS understands the importance of commissioning for establishing and operating efficient and effective buildings.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to any commissioning specialist who, throughout the previous 12-months, has achieved recognition from main contractors or final end-users for their services in areas such as technical expertise and advice, customisation of special requirements, clarity of all documentation and on-time delivery. You can nominate your company/projects or another that you know or work with.

Entries will be required to illustrate:

  • Technical expertise and practical delivery (examples)

  • Service capabilities/innovations and how they differ from others

  • Achieving/exceeding customer and/or project requirements (examples)

  • Customer or contractor recognition/client testimonials​​

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

All entries must be submitted online. There is an option to save your entry and complete it at a later date if required, but please ensure your whole entry is submitted by the deadline date as detailed below.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION

Additional supporting evidence can be attached to the online entry form or emailed to Hannah. Images must be hi-res but must not exceed 10MB.  Testimonials should preferably be on letter-headed paper or a time/date-stamped email with company signature, with a 250 maximum word count per testimonial. Datasheets, brochures or catalogues WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED so please refrain from sending these. Video links or links to external websites will also NOT be accepted.

JUDGING PROCESS

All information will be treated confidentially & will only be circulated amongst the judges. Entries are judged on merit only, with no reference to external consideration.

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for entry is 26th July 2024. Please note this date is final and will not be extended.

FINALISTS

All entrants will be informed by email as to whether, or not, they have got through to the final stage of the process.
